Back in 1980, John Cole founded JOSCO Products after seeing a need for sustainable rag solutions in his hometown of Austin Texas. John and his wife Joan worked tirelessly to build the business, treating its employees as family and remaining diligent to sustainability and affordability. John retired in 2010 handing the reigns over to his daughter Colleen who after graduating from St. Edwards University started out in sales and learned the business from bottom to top. JOSCO Products is the heart and soul of the Cole family and despite loosing John in 2024, the company has thrived under Colleen’s leadership. Outside of work Colleen is active within the Austin Chapter of EO serving on their board as well as serving on the board for the Austin Lyric Opera and participation in many Women owned business events and community groups. She enjoys her daily morning multi-mile walks, reading and listening to books, and spending time with her husband Jim and stepson Jake.
